The Fish Cave Fry Savers

The Fry Savers are professionally built, clear and allow you to see your fry.
They are powered by a single airline that operates an air/water uplift tube.
This uplift tube allows a continuous gentle flow of water through the Fry Saver.

How it Works

Water flowing through the foam filter allows a colony of bacteria to work on the water that passes through. After the bacteria in the foam has 'cycled' The water that passes through is converted and the result is that the water inside the Fry Saver is actually better than the water that is in the Main Tank. This occurs because the bacteria converts Ammonia and Nitrite into Nitrate. Nitrate is the most harmless of the three compounds formed. Nitrate is removed from your tank when you do water changes. Ammonia and nitrite in even very low amounts will be harmful to your fish!
The internal dimensions of the fry Savers are 26cm length (across the front of the tank), 15cm wide & 20cm deep. Lip measurements not included.
